Clean and perfectly set up for relaxation. Had a great time with my senior dog who could go out front easily. Had a great time relaxing, visiting the beach and eating in town. Go see the lighthouse in San Simeon! Tue or Thu, ticket needed on website

Such an amazing home! Super cozy and close to everything. The deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset. Management company was easy to contact and very helpful. It rained the first couple of days/nights but the home has a beautiful fireplace that puts out a lot of heat so the home stayed nice and warm. We had such a nice vacation and are planning our next stay.

Our fourth time staying at this home during a Cambria vacation. We love every feature and detail in the “Cool House”, especially the wrap around deck from which we really enjoy the “Cool View”.

We have been staying at this vacation rental for quite a few years. We really enjoy the view and location of this home. We like to kick back and relax and this house had some outdated wicker furniture that wasn’t all that comfortable. When we arrived we noticed that they have comfy leather couches, new tv, new fireplace insert and new table and chairs on the deck. This made our stay much more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back to this home.

I can't say enough about how much we love staying at this house. It is always clean and well maintained. We did some wine tasting and ate at West End Bar & Grill, Sandy's, and Main Street Station. I would definitely recommend this proper to friends & relatives. Watch out for the racoons; they knocked over the trash can and made a mess of the contents. Other than that, it was a perfect stay!!!

Lovely home in a near-perfect location, close to beach, trails and town. It had all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable stay.

We’re repeat visitors to this house over the past 10+ years. Very convenient location for walks into town or Moonstone, or to Highway 1. The house sits right above Hwy 1 so there is traffic noise throughout the day. Quieter at night, you can enjoy the ocean views and sunsets. Reasonably well appointed and equipped . Welll be back.

This being our 2nd stay at the “cool house” we were still impressed with the view of the water but the weather kept us indoors both days. Sadly the furniture is outdated and not real comfortable and the house was not as clean this time around because of the white dog hair we found throughout the house. We won’t let this stop us from staying again because it’s a cool house with a cool view.

This is a lovely and comfortable home. The kitchen is well equipped. The heater worked well.

This house is absolutely immaculate. The view is really nice. Sunset is magical. It's close to town and to the beach. One could walk to both, but you'd need to be ready for uphill on the way back.

One tiny ding on the location is that you do hear noise from Highway 1, which is right below the property.

I stayed there over Christmas and I really enjoyed my visit. Check in was contact free and easy. If you're bringing a pet, make sure you get a copy of the pet policy document and read it immediately. There are vaccination requirements and you'll need to bring a protective cover if your pet sleeps on the bed with you.

Kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, etc. Guests have access to the garage, handy for storing luggage, bicycles etc. Ocean view from deck. House has a stellar view and is very private. Easy access to downtown Cambria and Moonstone Beach. House itself was very flat and manageable for my father, who has poor mobility. Only potential complaint was that seating wasn’t the most comfortable. Would still absolutely recommend a stay, especially at the price point

The home is cute, immaculately clean, and has an ocean view. The only downside is the traffic noise. The trails in Cambria are gorgeous. Main Street Grille has great burgers.

This cozy little house continues (we’ve stayed there 3 times) to be a great place to unwind and shed the stress that comes from a busy Southern California life. With sweeping views of the ocean we spent most of our time relaxing on the patio or looking out the panoramic living room windows. 5 stars for this home!

The home was perfect because it was walking distance from town and Moonstone Beach. I loved that the 2 bedrooms were spaced apart at other ends of the home. The porch was lovely and succulent landscape charming. I would get rid of the kitchen and living room rugs because you can see the pet stains.... That was the only thing that bothered me.

Great experience! TV instructions seemed outdated and living room furniture could be updated but all else was fine. Great location.

Clean, simple accommodations. Master bedroom is very large, comfortable king size bed. Kitchen is well stocked with the essential implements, all of which appeared to be relatively new. From the minute you walk into this house the views will blow you away. My wife and I have been coming to Cambria twice a year for more than 30 years and this house is in our top 3 houses to rent. The open living room with all the windows looking out at Moonstone Beach is a real treat. The kitchen is perfect and the deck is a great spot for a cold one while watching the day pass by. Add in the wood burning fireplace and the comfy bedrooms and you will say the same thing, why stay anywhere else!

We have rented this house several times. It has become our go to place to stay when visiting Cambria. It is a very comfortable home with a stellar ocean view and it’s close to everything. And it’s surprising larger than it looks from the outside. The registration box outside the rental office is a disappointment, because dealing with the staff was always so pleasant.

Words really don’t do justice to how welcoming, and comfortable this home is. From the moment we walked in, to the breathtaking view from the living room, to the spacious but cozy bedrooms, our entire experience far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning tto this location every time we vacation in Cambria.

This house was a little dated, but very clean and a pleasure to stay at. My pops really enjoyed the decor as it made him feel at home. You can hear and see the waves from the balcony. It had every we needed for a few days and we will be going back.

Simple, peaceful, a stroll through town with the jovial and welcoming. Truly a special retreat with warm comfortable accommodations. A view to match and at least three days to feel the tranquility!

This really was a great house with a great view to the ocean. Scenic Coast Property Management has always provided us with well maintained and comfortable vacation rentals in the Cambria area and this one was no different. It was spotlessly clean, well stocked, equipped with modern kitchen appliances, good Wifi, and fantastic views.
It was also nice to have a garage and also a washer/dryer. The other great thing is that Scenic Coast is always available to answer any questions or immediately solve any problem.
We had a relaxing and extremely comfortable stay.

A nice little home, with a lovely ocean view in a nice walkable neighborhood. It is a bit noisy being so close to Hwy 1. The BBQ is in bad condition and needs a professional thorough cleaning, so we did not use it. It was cold in the mornings. Turned on the furnace which blew a lot of dust into the rooms. The furnace ducts need cleaning, so we just left the furnace off and warmed up in the mornings with blankets we brought.

The home is very nice, and very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It does need some maintenance done.

Rental was great! The house was clean and inviting and the location was spectacular just a few blocks away from the ocean. The complaint to be had was that the cable box in the living room could only access a few movie channels but could not access any news channel. We did contact management and they advised us to the reset the box, which we did to no avail. The cable box in the bedroom, however, worked great!

This is about our 10th visit to this rental. Very nice one story with a spectacular view of Moonstone Beach and a 1/4 mile walk to the beach. Very comfortable. Need I say more!

What a great home! It was easy to find, the view was great, the grounds are beautiful. Loved the deck. Kitchen well stocked looks newly remodeled. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms could use some grab bars getting in/out of tub and shower for us older folks. The living room furniture is very uncomfortable. The rugs have lots of stains. I would love to stay here again if the living room furniture was upgraded.

Loved this place - great location (10-minute walk to ocean or downtown), great views (saw a few whales), lovely yard, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing 5-day stay. Echoing other reviewers' comments ... When sitting on the chairs on the balcony, the railing blocks the view - solved that problem by placing a pillow on the chair so I could enjoy the ocean view. Others mentioned the living room furniture as being uncomfortable, but I thought it was fine. Only negative is the large area rugs in the dining and living rooms have stains - as expected, since one stain is clearly visible in the listing photos - but luckily there were no smells. Since the house is clean and well-maintained, perhaps removing the rugs (or replacing with a patterned design to better hide the stains?) might make it more visually appealing.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can't wait to come back.

The house was perfect for our family of three with a dog. Incredibly clean, amazing view. Loved that we had a garage for parking. Our three year old keeps talking about how much fun he had at the “beach house”. Seriously, this is one of the absolute best vacation rentals we’ve experienced. We want to get back soon!!

This is the second property in Cambria we've rented through Scenic Coast. The place was immaculately clean, well-stocked and in a great location. They do a great job, and it's best to go through them directly without the extra fees of AirBnB or VRBO.

This is our favorite place to stay in Cambria. The location provides easy access to both Moonstone Beach and "downtown." The house is comfortable and clean. Its just 2 of us (+ the dog), but we like the extra space. In-garage parking is also nice. The back deck is great for wine, snacks and sunset.

This is a perfect getaway home if you enjoy an ocean view. Very nice updated kitchen with all the necessary items needed to stay in during this pandemic. Overall a very clean home, bathrooms were spotless.

The home is in a great area for access to town and beach and has a wonderful walking neighborhood. The house has a great open feel and layout. The house had everything we needed and is well-equipped. The only "critical"comment is that the furnishings could use some updating and more comfortable furniture both on the deck and in the living room area. I would stay there again in a minute!

Place was very clean and well equipped. We have stayed there three times. Had not been there in three years. Kitchen remodeled. It’s in a perfect location. Slept hearing waves come in and out. Next to Hwy 1, however traffic none existent by nine. Easy check in without having any covid exposure.

Overall a very good experience from a super simple check in, to a great home to spend the week in. The location is a 10 minute walk to the beach or the downtown depending which way you go. Overall excellent experience.

Easy, big kitchen, washer and dryer, good directions, quiet, just a few block walk to the beach (across Highway 1 !) -- gorgeous beach, easy walking, interesting rocks

The Three of us had an absolutely great time at Moonstone Beach and Cambria. We are familiar with the area and visit often. Activities from Seal Beach to Morrow Bay. Walking, photography, wine tasting, many more and great food. Ocean sounds all night.

Scenic Coast Property Management staff was friendly and no waiting. A few minutes and we were in. The home looked well cherished and admired by the owners. Clean and ample amenities for our stay. Beds were comfy as was the living room furniture; however, it reminds me of visiting the sixty's. A larger television placed above the mantle would help and the kitchen seemed dark. But we didn't visit the beach to watch television or cook, so this home was pleasant, quiet and delightful.

Walking to town is easy. Moonstone Beach Park is across the street and always had plenty of parking.

We've stayed here before and will again. It's kind of like staying at your grandparents' - a bit dated, but comfortable. Yes, you get traffic noise in the day,but look at the view! It's not our style, but look at the view! The screen doors need to be adjusted, the garage door opener sounds like a scary movie door, the fire-screen needs DW40, and the fire place was smokey for the first time since we've been coming, but these are relatively minor caveats. We dined at Robin's way too many times as usual, and enjoyed the antics of the wild turkeys and deer that patrol the neighborhood - which is otherwise very quiet which we appreciate. Can't wait to return.

Our family group of four adults all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute home while attending a wedding. Yes the furnishings are dated, but it adds to the charm of the place overall. The two bedrooms with baths are on opposites sides of the house so privacy was never an issue. All the comforts of home are available from classic games to classic vhs! But with the view out the front windows and the wrap around deck, you might find yourself falling asleep to the sounds of the waves like I did! My (our) one and only complaint...if you are providing a coffee maker, please supply filters or have on hand and old peculator type or french press so one does not have to improvise with paper towels or a strainer, lol!

The home is located walking distance to Main Street in Cambria and Moonstone Beach. The home was clean and standard amenities were provided. The deck and main living area views of the ocean were great. Nice succulent garden surrounded the home. Overall, the home was lovely for a quick trip. I personally would not recommend for an extended period of time or for when wanting to lounge around the house at any extended length. The living room furniture was quite old, dusty and it was not comfortable to sit or play games at the table. Bedrooms/bathrooms were clean. Towels were spotted and old, but clean. We were on a trip to Hearst castle and it was a perfect location for the destination. I would stay again under similar circumstances but not for an extended stay.

Overall the house was great. Beds were comfy, upgraded kitchen with nearly everything we could have wanted to cook with. Weather was fabulous during our stay which gave us a wonderful view of the ocean. Our only suggestion would be to furnish higher seating deck chairs as the Adirondack chairs seat too low to see over deck’s railing.

The attached garage makes it easy to store luggage/bicycles, coolers, etc. The kitchen is recently remodeled and comes well equipped. The low flow shower heads get annoying, but to be expected with the drought conditions. The house sits almost on top of Highway 1, so the traffic noise during the day, especially on weekends, can get a bit loud. At night, however, the traffic subsides significantly. The deck has a working gas grill. The plastic deck chairs aren't especially comfortable. The beds are quite comfortable, however. Overall, a pleasant place to spend several days.
