Great, quiet location on Fiscalini Ranch. Beautiful, comfortable home.

This beautiful home has been our favorite, not just on the Central Coast, but in all of California for many years now.
Upon arrival it is impeccably clean and very well-organized for guests. The decor is exceptional and every detail has been taken care of to make our visit comfortable, convenient and memorable.
We especially enjoy the easy access to the lovely Fiscalini Preserve just beyond the back gate.
This is truly a luxury home in a beautiful location and one that we enjoy returning to regularly.

House was as described, immaculate and very well stocked with everything necessary. We enjoyed sitting outside reading and enjoying the view. Also enjoyed the trails accessible from back of property property and visits from deer. Perfect vacation!

Beautiful well-kept home. There are a lot of notes taped up everywhere of do's and don'ts.

We had family fly in to SLO Airport from out of state for a much needed vacation. The Oceanview Gatsby House did not disappoint! We were all very comfortable, home had everything we needed. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front ocean view deck, making meals in the well stocked kitchen and exploring the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The weather could not have been better! Scenic Coast Property Management is wonderful! We plan to be back again soon! Thank you for a Beautiful Retreat!

This is a beautiful, well-appointed home. I have been to other rentals and this surpasses First Class! Clean and modern, yet old-world! Cares fall away and the mind calms down. I would like to keep this information all to myself, but that wouldn't be right. The Gatsby House surpasses your expectations!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals, it was perfectly cleaned, and the beds are very comfortable. It is a perfect home for a larger family. The views of on the front patio are breathtaking! I would definitely recommend booking this home for your Cambria vacation.

4th summer in a row at the Gatsby House. As always, very well appointed with beautiful art and lovely furnishings. We always enjoy our strolls at Fiscalini and Moonstone. Lots of baby deer this year a well as bunnies & quail. We miss Cambria already!

We have stayed in the Gatsby House a few times and will not stay anywhere else! The home is beautifully maintained and comfortable. And the location could not be beat. Functional and lovely kitchen and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and couches for relaxing. We enjoy breakfast and afternoon snacks with an ocean view on the beautiful front porch. Having direct access to the forest from the lovely yard is such a delight! We walk every day, exploring many directions, and the privacy from not having a neighbor on that side is an added bonus. The home is a very short drive into the quaint town. Also a short walk (though very hilly) down to the tide pools and rocks at the south end of Fiscalini Reserve.

It is a very relaxing home.
The Roku, however, gives us pause. 5 controllers and three women putting their heads together are no match for the Roku! Less TV watched. But we had plenty of crocheting to do!

The Gatsby House is a beautiful well appointed place to stay in beautiful Cambria. The home had things there we didn't know we needed. Saved us many trips to the store. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home.

We had a very pleasant 6-day stay. The whole house was equipped as a home not a rental. The living room was especially nice. The gas fireplace logs actually glowed red and warmed the whole room. There two steps down to living room and two steps up to the Master suites.

The dining room table was a little large for the 4 of us to play games. A Card table would have been nice. It was just feet to wooded walking trails. The ocean was a few blocks. Because we were a the top of the hill, it would be a very steep walk back. I recommend a car. Also, it was very, very quiet.

And a small note to the owner or Scenic Coast is it would be lovely to be able to remove the umbrella from the front porch to facilitate both watching the sunset and conversing with people. Our group of 4 had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the Gatsby house. It was very clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning with a peaceful view of the ocean. Walked everyday through the neighborhood to the Fiscallini Ranch Preserve for a 2 mile walk along the ocean. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of covers to stay warm with the ocean breeze coming into the house at night. Please be aware that there are a few steps into the sunken living room, up into the master bedroom suite and out to the front porch.

We were 3 adults in our 60s and enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It is clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is upscale and has everything you need to prepare meals. The view is lovely from the front porch. The location is perfect for exploring San Simeon. We loved going to see the elephant seals too. The town of Cambria is quaint and we loved the restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend the property. One minor note, we found all the instructional notes helpful but there were a few too many requirements. While we understand the need for such a lovely house, they became rather tedious. That said we hope to visit again and this is definitely a 5 star property.

Very nice house with fully stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are separated so good for sharing with other people. Lovely outside spaces front and back. Convenient location. Only negative is this is not a good house to see sunsets.

Our visit to Cambria was very relaxing and enjoyable. The beauty of the Gatsby House and the breathtaking views, allowed us to recharge our batteries. My husband loves trees and I love the ocean. We had the best of both worlds. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

My wife and I had a wonderful week in Cambria at the Gatsby House. Contactless check in/out was easy. The home was very clean, well kept, modernized, well furnished. Comfortable bed, kitchen had everything needed to prepare our meals. Quiet hilltop setting with nice partial ocean views from the front veranda. Really liked being able to access the walking trails of Fiscalini Ranch from the back gate. Great location for exploring the Central Coast from the Elephant Seal Lookout in the north to Morro Bayin the south. Highly recommend this home!

Wonderfully appointed home with everything one needs for a weekend or a month. The only negative is the area is still suffering from a severe water shortage, so the Jacuzzi tube is "off limits"; nonetheless, we highly recommend a stay at Gatsby House.

This was the perfect place to stay in Cambria. First of all in a time of Covid - the place was spotless. Second, the location was incredible backing on to Fiscalini reserve. We loved sitting on the front patio for morning coffee and the back deck to grill and have dinner. Can't wait to visit again.

The place was perfect for our family of four. Love the kitchen and all of the provided equipment including the grill! We enjoyed cooking meals and listening to the waves break as we had our morning coffee on the terrace. Will definitely book again!

This being our 4th stay at the Gatsby House, I just have to say,I am relaxed, happy and totally refreshed.

My wife and I had a great time hiking and biking in Cambria.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and appointed with everything we could’ve possibly needed. The backyard was purely amazing and the house location allowed pretty much an immediate access to hiking trails.

We would definitely stay at this place again.

Our 3rd stay at the Gatsby house. Outstanding experience!!! House is impeccably decorated and always clean. Great ocean views and close to Fiscalini Reserve and Marine Terrace water front. Quiet neighborhood close to all Cambria, San Simeon and Cayucos activities. Fully outfitted kitchen. Everything we needed for our cooking competition over 3 nights! (I lost )

Every time we rent this gorgeous dwelling we are satisfied. Nice place with nice amenities. Only issue is the Living Room TV.. This still remains to be problem.

Beautiful decor, immaculate house, lovely setting. Right next to a parcel of land with nature trails (Mostly through former ranch land) and a mile-long cliff walk along the coast. Cambria is lovely quaint village a couple of miles inland.

We cook at home and this kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed including spices, sharp knives, great pots and pans. The beds were very comfortable and the floor plan of the home provides privacy for the master bedroom to the children's rooms. The home is impeccably clean.

Could not have had a better experience in Cambria. The back gate led into the preserve, miles of trails and a beach cliff walk. House perfectly furnished and spotless. Will return

Absolutely beautiful property inside and out. Great location. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio watching deer and admiring the ocean view with a glass of wine. Home is amazing. Immaculate throughout. We were also very appreciative of the clean windows. We have rented homes in Cambria for the past 12 years and this was by far the most beautiful and the cleanest of any property.

This is the second time that we have rented the Gatsby House and as we expected, it did not disappoint! The house is well equipped, clean and quiet. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. It is just so easy to feel at home here. The views out the front and the back of the house far exceed expectations. We had frequent visits from deer and hiking trails leading down to the ocean are right out the back door through the Preserve. This home is simply a delight. Thank you for a great stay!
