Bella Vista

The house is very nice, but the basement area is weird. I know it is for kids, but the floors are too hard for rough housing. The yard needs work badly. The dishes are limited. More lighting is definitely needed. The screen in master bedroom needs attention.

Six of stayed in this house for 4 nights. It was roomy, had a comfortable living space, large dining table and deck with a view of the ocean which was all very nice. There was a musty odor when we first walked in so we immediately opened the patio doors for air. The downstairs, however, smelled AWFUL. It smelled of moisture and mildew and the sheets on the beds actually felt damp. One of the guests has asthma and only spent 1 night down there because she began coughing and wheezing. She slept on the couch the remainder of our time there. The rest of us stayed there for the remaining nights, but the odor never went away. There was a "Damp Rid" bag (to prevent moisture and mildew) hanging in each of the closets and they were both filled with water. Sleeping downstairs was very uncomfortable and not pleasant at all.

We had a wonderful time at Bella Vista. The home had plenty of room for our family. It was nice to have space to cook together, eat together, and play together. The home is clean and has plenty of cooking items, towels, etc. The kids loved the downstairs area and the hot tub. The view was spectacular and we were able to enjoy it from the many windows on the second floor.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stunning views, comfortable and clean lodging, lots of fun for kids and adults, easy to check in and out. Will definitely book again if we're in the area.

Our group of 8 stayed only 2 nights, but the view was great from the dining area, just as the photo on website. This home is perfect for 2 couples and some kids. Super clean, modern and inviting!!!

We had a wonderful time in Cambria. Overall, the Bella Vista house was lovely and comfortable.

This was our second time staying here. We were a group a 7 women and had plenty of space. The view is amazing from the dining area and balcony. The kitchen had all that you would need, but I’d recommend actually decluttering and organizing the kitchen a bit more. This is also a great space for a couple of families with young children.
I would suggest, as others have, that the property owners do something with the backyard besides overgrown weeds. A simple concrete patio with a table and chairs would be nice. Also, please include on the hot tub guidance sheet that the chemicals will make the water green. We didn’t go in because of that at first and missed out on a couple of hours before someone’s called to tell us.

Everything was as expected besides the spa was green and not maintenance’s regularly like it was posted in the vacation rental description. It definitely needed a shock treatment and a thorough cleaning. I suggest if they are going to advertise it they should pay someone to keep it maintained and up to par or take it out of there because it’s kind of a tease to see it there and not be able to use it.

The property was clean and comfortable, very well decorated and fully stocked kitchen to make any large meals! The view was incredible! We would recommend staying here!

I grew up comming to Cambria for summers, but had not been back for nearly 30 years. I am now making memories with my own children. We love using Senic Coast Properties due to thier amazing rental properties. This house is in a great location and in a quite laid back neighborhood. Great ocean views from the deck. Plenty of space for a family with children.

This was a perfect place for me and my family to stay for a vacation. The neighborhood was quiet. Walking distance to the beach and beautiful scenery!

My partner and I booked a stay with his parents. The location was perfect, close to hiking trails, the beach, and downtown Cambria. The property was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we wanted to stay in. Plus the hot tub was AMAZING!! This would also be a great location for a family with kids because of the game room downstairs. The company was great to work with too. We had a mix up with the reservation and they were gracious in resolving the matter. I would definitely recommend using this company again and would absolutely come back to this property.

Over all our family of 3 adults and 2 children had a wonderful experience at this property. We were excited to see a jacuzzi spa is being installed on the side deck. I’m sure this’ll be an awesome addition to Bella Vista. Just a few upgrades we would suggest. The decking on all sides is very ruff and in need of attention. Also all the patio chairs were so rusted we were concerned for our safety to sit on them. There was two drip coffee makers which neither worked.

The view from the deck is everyone's favorite, though, followed by the whales we saw from the deck this time & the deer poaching snacks in the neighbors' gardens. The grandchildren really like the bb hoops downstairs and have outgrown the little tyke stuff. We miss the tree in the front yard! This July was uncomfortably crowed in Cambria proper; we tended to stay on the walking trails & sorting through tides pools & various beach flotsam such as sticks, shells, pretty pebbles & anything shiny or interesting. There is a nice hose to wash off the sand near the front door....great idea! We also just hung out at the house itself a lot BECAUSE it is such a comfortable house & is filled with light from the front windows. Open those doors leading out to the need to go far. Just stay in & rest, read, visit or watch that ginormous TV.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the views,location and ammenities.Would recommend ADA approved grab bars in Master shower and toilet as was hard to navigate for older warned there is no cell service in area but Wi-Fi is good.Overall was a great spot for three generations.

Check in could be easier with e-docs and door coded lock, but fortunately the management company isn’t too far from the house so the inconvenience is minor. The house itself has a beautiful view of the ocean (got to see pods of whales swimming by) and affords cool breezes. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was everything I was hoping for and more! Beautiful location, just a few minute walk away from the ocean. Beautiful home inside and comfortable. We utilized the kitchen all weekend. Close to downtown Cambria. I will definitely try renting this home again!

The house is amazing. Great setup and layout, especially if you have kids. Amazing upstairs balcony, ocean view from your dinner table. Well stocked kitchen. Gas bbq works great. Very happy with this vacation rental. Looks tiny from the outside but very spacious, airy and open once inside. The view is incredible and love the location. The sounds of the ocean were wonderful as we ate and slept with the windows open. We walked and rode our bikes to the beach and tide pools. The closest beach is more of a walking beach, not one for swimming. Very clean and well stocked. It had all the pots, pans and utensils you need to cook all kinds of meals. Great for families with the downstairs bunk room for 4 kids and entertainment area with TV and basketball. Also a new, large TV in the living room and fast internet. No AT&T cell service but full Verizon cell signal. The wine cellar is really interesting too. I loved having the convenience of the washer dryer since we are an active family and all the beach trips and outings, our clothes and towels were always needing washing. One note, it is a very quiet neighborhood and people will complain if you make any noise outside the house. We didn't have a party but our kids were star gazing at night and someone called to complain, so be aware of your noise level. Also, the water pressure is very low so no power showers, more of a sprinkle shower. But at least the bathrooms were beautifully updated and well appointed. Overall we highly recommend this beautiful vacation getaway home!

Always a pleasure to stay in Cambria. Bella Vista was a good house for almost a month's stay.

Perfect for a family gathering. Loved the kids area downstairs, the open floor plan, expansive view of the ocean. Updated, clean and comfortable. Super convenient to eat at home, and our family of cooks appreciated the well-appointed kitchen which was outfitted with all the pots, pans, utensils, etc that you would need to put together a great meal. Lots of towels and basic supplies. Great to have a washer/dryer as well. Eight minute walk to the tidepools (highly recommended), short drive to town.
The only suggestion I'd have is to include wifi password and instructions on how to operate the TVs in the guestbook. Phone reception can be spotty depending on what carrier you have, so getting a wifi connection was key.
Overall, a fantastic stay. We would definitely rent this house again without hesitation.

Our book club was celebrating our 30th anniversary, and we could NOT have picked a better location! Great layout, fireplace, kitchen, space to hang out and reminisce. Very close to hiking and all the attractions. We loved it!

We had a lovely stay at the property. It was very clean and comfortable. The upstairs area was especially beautiful and we loved the deck. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and watching the sunset on the beach. The weather was quite warm during our stay and there is no central air which is typical for the area -- we opened all the windows upon our arrival to cool down the home, but it took a while and I wish the windows had been opened for a bit prior to our arrival. Checking in and out was very easy. I would only like to suggest to the property managers to please add shampoo and conditioner to the bathrooms, we were surprised there was none. Overall, we would love to return someday.

Property was perfect to spend our vacation. Ample room for every member of my group of 5 to have their way to relax and enjoy the stay. The view from the big window was excellent while having our family time at the dining area. The surrounding atmosphere including the wildlife, such as deers l, made for a memorable vacation.

Beautiful view. Good for a family with younger children. The two bedrooms were good for adults, the 3rd was totally for kids.

The upstairs was beautiful. Nicely remodeled and comfortable. The downstairs has been remodeled as well, but the room arrangement was a bit wonky and it was cold. Once we warmed the house up it was fine. Loved the view, the deck. The kitchen was very nice. The master bedroom was very comfortable. Furniture was comfortable. The house is set up for a family, with bunks downstairs and fun things to play with. I would stay in the upstairs again again. The downstairs was less appealing. Scenic Coast Property Management is always great to work with. I have stayed in about 10 of their Cambria properties. Thank you for a lovely stay!!!

Our second time in this home. 30 days both times. Comfortable and nice. Great view morning, noon or night.

The house was gorgeous! Lots of room for my family. Kids had a wonderful time, just worried about the stairs but we bought a baby gate so that helped. The rooms were big and comfy. Loved having dinners with a site :).

The furniture is comfortable w/throws & pillows. Awesome w/3 Bathrooms plus a 1/2 BR upstairs for everyone to use! Absolutely fabulous kitchen, not only with sturdy attractive plate & silver ware, but tools & spices, tool Wonderful for 3 generations to meet but still plenty of private space. This was our 2nd visit; we will come again w/ the 3 generations! Just wonderful!

The house was better than in the pictures posted. It was great that the kids had the whole downstairs to sleep and play in. Very nice. The only thing I would mention was the lighting, the downstairs attached guest bath was very dark. Beautiful view and nicely decorated.

Needed to de-stress from everyday life. Decided on Cambria because we wanted to try out the area. We sold our beach house in Grover &!are exploring other options. The calming view & location was perfect. We got to see deer grazing next to house & whales playing in the ocean. Took grandkids & the playroom & many kids dvds were a hit. Theres nothing I can complain about. Cant wait to come again.

Overall we enjoyed a very positive experience, except that the woman who checked me in on Saturday was curt, dismissive, and borderline rude.

We would love to stay here again. The only negative,and it was minor, was lighting for reading and games upstairs.

This home has 3 1/2 bathrooms and with 3 generations, that is really the icing on the cake.There are 2 suites and a children's center complete with a gaming basketball hoop for 2 and a set of books and toys for toddlers+...plus their own TV. The children have 2 bedrooms downstairs w/2 bunks, the lower one being a double bed. You could really sleep 6 kids down there. Absolutely tops with lots of room for play as well. Then, there is a TV "room" which is upstairs with a telescope for watching whales! What a nice touch!!!! You bring your own Netflix etc. accounts, but if not there are several movies for kids. The open plan of the house is modern, colors & furnishings are very current & sleek. There is a fireplace w/2 chairs for visiting & a dining table for 8 that is pale in color & inviting. Great windows and decks + huge BBQ for grilling. Wonderful place. I would give it a grade of 11 out of 10. My family wants to go back every summer. The kitchen is very complete w/ a view to the sea. We loved this house. Absolutely beautiful in every way. The front of the house, nice with new paint & stones & blacktop for 3 cars, gives no indication of the beauty within.

We've been staying at this property for number of years every time we visit Cambria and we've been with this management company for over 20 years. This should tell you that we love this house and it's very easy and enjoyable to deal with the management company.
This house is one of the best. You can't beat the location, the view and all the great amenities. The house is always cleaned to perfection and is very inviting. Looking forward to our next stay.
