Fantastic. Beautiful home and great location! Loved it!

A clean, comfortable well supplied elegant home in an upscale neighborhood. Close to trails on Fiscalini Ranch. Would love to come back.

My wife and I really liked the home overall, but I feel a little constructive critique is warranted.
A beautiful and spacious home. Large living area, but in order to watch TV, you have to go into a small dark bedroom made into a family room to watch the TV. Would have been nice to have the TV in the actual living area. All the furniture was old. Not worn, but well used. We are in our 70's and found it hard to get out of the chairs and sofas because they were so low and soft. The mattresses in the bedroom with the 2 singles were really soft and the mattress in the other downstairs bedroom was rock hard. Master bed was fine. There was a leaky faucet in the master bath and one of the light switches was hot to the touch. Possible problem.
All that being said, I would rent this place again because of the location and the fact that is was very clean and well stocked with anything you needed.

Very nice and spacious rental. Access to walks on the bluffs and nearby beach are excellent. Furniture is worn and dated as it appears the owner use this as a second home. Kitchen is extremely well stocked for baking and cooking.

This house is so lovely and cozy. My family and I rented it for a week and it was absolutely perfect. Unparalleled sunset views. Walking distance to the ocean and fiscalini ranch. Private, comfortable, and well-appointed with a truly amazing kitchen. Can't wait to return soon!!

My 2 adult children and their families joined me at this beautiful house for our second annual family reunion and our experience there was wonderful. I live outside of the U.S. so we aren't able to see each other as often as we'd like. That's why I chose a large home that could accommodate a large family including my 2 grandchildren, both under 6 years of age. The kitchen was fully equipped so we made most meals there rather than ordering out or going to restaurants. Overall it was a great experience. I'd humbly like to suggest to the owners that the one bedroom with 2 twin beds might be better served with a single king or queen sized bed. I want to assure the owners and anyone reading this that my suggestion is not a criticism but, for my family, with 2 adult children and their spouses along with me, a 3rd bed in queen or king size would have been more comfortable. That said, there is a hide-away upstairs that is larger but it is probably a better bed for children. Regardless, we loved this home and look forward to visiting it again in the future.

We enjoyed our week in Cambria and felt right at home in this beautiful place. We loved being able to hike on the bluff trails a short block away and how centrally located this house was to everything we wanted to do. The home was roomy enough for our group of 5 with plenty of counter space in the kitchen for meal prep. The beds were comfortable and the furnishing were very nice. I highly recommend this place.

This is our 5th spring, staying at this gorgeous property. I honestly look forward to it as my home away from home - except I don’t have a spectacular central California Pacific Ocean view at home. As foodies, we love cooking in the extremely well equipped kitchen, fair warning, pans are what you’d expect in a vacation kitchen, but otherwise, every baking dish you could want, the same kitchen appliances I have at home, sans a food processor, a huge selection of kitchen tools, and 3 different lovely sets of china to serve our dinner on. Great views, especially now that one rather unattractive tall shrub has been trimmed down to give a much better ocean view. That back yard faces on the Fiscalini Preserve, so you can often see wildlife in the morning, while enjoying your coffee on the rear deck. We spent a good half hour watching a pregnant deer graze right outside the breakfast nook window one morning.
This house has comfortable bedrooms, with very nice linens and it’s always spotless. We cook, but if you’ve never stayed in Cambria, there are lots of lovely places to dine out (we always enjoy at least one lunch at Las Cambritas!) We always visit the antique stores, and this year was a treat, as I found several items I couldn’t do without. My gallery shopping found a birthday present for my sis, and a thank you gift for a friend, so this year’s trip to Cambria was exceptional!

Beautiful location. Big house, lots of room! Wonderfully large kitchen that can accommodate any size family.

The home was lovely with a beautiful view from the upstairs living area and master bedroom.
The TV room is quite small for a group. It would be better to have a TV in the living room. It's worth noting that the two bedrooms downstairs share one full bath.
Scenic Coast Prop Mgmt went over and above in helping us recover some items that were left behind! (We so appreciated your help.)

Wonderful

It was a great house, clean, spacious & a wonderful view. The drive way was VERY steep, even at an angle, our car was ALWAYS scraping going in or coming out.

We have been coming to Cambria for the last thirty years. It is a yearly sojourn that we look forward to. The Ocean Ranch Villa is spacious, clean, and has spectacular views which we all enjoy immensely. The closeness of Fiscalini Ranch Preserve is very appealing as we are all walkers. What a delightful way to start the day on the trails of the Ranch. The weather was absolutely beautiful this year adding to the joy of being outside is such an idyllic place. The ocean vistas and wildflowers were spectacular!



Just a side note that doesn't need to be included in the review: the pull-out bed in the "TV" room needs a new mattress. The existing one is painfully thin. The springs can readily be felt making sleep difficult! Makes for a sore back in the morning.

We stayed for five days in early November. The weather was magnificent and the views were spectacular. We found a house to be very comfortable and well-maintained; our only wish was that the twin beds and the fold out bed were more comfortable.

We love this house this is the second time we have stayed here and plan to come back next year. The house is very clean we love the location and beautiful views from the front deck, back deck really from all of the windows also. The kitchen is huge there’s everything you could possibly want. The living room furniture is comfy. My only suggestion would be a king size bed in the master and a larger TV. Also if you like to walk the bluff it’s close by so you can just walk to the Bluffs and go really a great location We had a wonderful stay and we will be back next year.

I thought long and hard about writing this review. The house was clean, beautiful with gorgeous views but the Devil is in the detail. We traveled up with our 8 month old meeting both my parents and in-laws for a long weekend. What sold us on this house was the kitchen as we had planned to cook and eat our meals there. We have stayed in many VRBO’s and Airbnb’s in the past so knew the drill and brought our own groceries. It became very apparent that no one actually lived in this house. What the pictures don’t show are white plastic severely corroded kitchen faucets, janky kitchen appliances and no basics like foil. No blackout curtains throughout the entire house, so If you plan to spend any time in the living room or master bedroom, don’t do so when the sun is setting as it becomes blindingly bright and hot. Whoever owns the house has a very large collection of local art displayed throughout the house, but the living and dining room furniture is that of a college dorm. Our bathroom had a massive Kleenex box with one tissue. Seriously, 1 tissue. Ladies, if you plan to dry your hair, bring your own hair dryer as the one they provide looks like it was from the 70s and sounds like a hazard while on. The master shower faucet had zero pressure so we alI ended up using the bathroom down the hall. The contract stated no cars allowed to park on the street at any time though everyone else in the neighborhood appeared to do so. Hope you enjoy bottoming out every time you need to leave the house.

I have never written a review like this. But I felt compelled to do so for the next renter. It’s a beautiful property, but for the price, we expected a bit more than what was delivered. Property management needs to up their game.

Ocean Ranch Villa is everything you could possibly ask for in a home. Having rolling hills behind you and the ocean across the street from you in a very quiet neighborhood made our vacation a dream. The hiking trails were in our backyard so there was no need to drive to them. The kitchen has every pot, pan and utensil that you could possibly need. There are so many extras that it is impossible to name them all. There is even a second refrigerator in the garage which is helpful since you need to climb a set of stairs to get to the kitchen. The only recommendation that I would make is that if you want anyone to sleep on the fold out sofa, you might want to bring a foam mattress to put on top.

We loved staying at the property. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The house looked better than the pictures. We were a party of six, and there were plenty of space of us all. The only thing we suggest is a better shower head for the master bathroom and down stairs bathroom. Due to Covid, it appeared that the agency was short staffed, so getting in touch with someone in the office for questions was difficult, but that has nothing to do with the property we rented. We will still give over all 5 stars to this property.

Very beautiful house and location perfect for a family get together with easy access to trails. House has amazing open area for gathering and large kitchen. We loved our stay.

I rented this unit back in June, when I thought I would have several people travelling with me. 30 days before the stay, I was going to cancel because nobody would be joining me. I figured I would lose out on $150. Well, it turns out their policy is for 60 days out or else you lose $450. I decided to take my trip anyway and wrote to the management company to see if there was any leeway on at least the cleaning fee since it was only 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms being used. I used the kitchen only for coffee. I never heard from them except to write this review.

If you have a confirmed large party, this unit is gorgeous, could be fun, and is in a great location.

The location of this house is fabulous. Right across the street from the ocean. Close to walking trails. This rental was clean but there’s a ton of dishes everywhere. Only 2 very small TVs. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with cookware. The beds were not comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay in this beautiful home. Great environment, beautiful views, easy walking to multiple locations and gorgeous weather. Who could ask for anything more?

The location and size of this home is what drew us to it. It turned out to be all we were hoping for! Having the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve at the end of the street was an incredible opportunity each morning to head out the door to take in the natural beauty surrounding the area.The rental process was easy to navigate and the property was large enough for us, our children and grandchildren to enjoy a special weekend together.

Overall all 6 of us were happy with the property.
Points that could be improved:
Eliminate ants in the master bathroom.
Fix garage door opener to function properly.
Provide instructions on how to get the shower to
function in the secondary bathroom on the
mainfloor.

We had a wonderful stay in this house. Perfect location, well stocked and conveniently located a half block away from Fiscalini Preserve with its walking paths and breathtaking views. Only negative was the steep driveway. We had to really maneuver out of the driveway in order not to do damage to the SUV.

The Ocean Ranch Villa was the perfect getaway after a long year of quarantine. The house is perfectly appointed with everything you could want. The views are incredible and we watched the sunset from the balcony every night. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the Ranch, the beach or a trip into town. What a wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful home with a well-stocked, spacious kitchen with views from nearly every upstairs window. Comfortable living spaces and bedrooms although we agree with other reviewers that the beds are firm. Bring a comfy topper and it'll be perfect.

The house is within walking distance to some great hiking trails in the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, and a quick drive to anywhere in town you need to get to. Shamel Park and Moonstone Beach are nearby, too.

Everything other guests have said are true. This house is VERY well set up for a lovely time. Our gracious hosts have created the loveliest home to stay in. Beauty throughout the house. And truly, the kitchen has everything you could possibly want, and as there were 3 fairly accomplished cooks, with zero complaints, I promise, that is a feat! We enjoyed this home so much! Also, I have to say, my experience with Scenic Coast Property Management was completely perfect! After 3 years, so happy to be coming back to Cambria!

Wow! This house was incredible. Perfect for those who love to cook and entertain. Kitchen is so large this is one place to accomplish a nice meal with "many cooks in the kitchen". Absolutely wonderful home. thank you for sharing.

What a great stay we had in this fantastic house built entirely to top specs without being ostentatious. The dream kitchen was fabulous and the walks and scenery just outside the house were out of this world. What is there not to recommend about this dream house? Thoroughly recommend and we will defintely be back some time!

The house was beautiful, and spotlessly clean, across the street from the ocean, and literally steps away from beautifully scenic trails along the cliff tops and rolling hillside. We chose to stay in Cambria as opposed to San Luis Obispo for our son's graduation, and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The house is turn key ready, spacious, and the kitchen is an epicurean's delight. There were six adults in our group, we were all very pleased with the house and location.

We really enjoyed the house. A hot tub would be awesome. There are a ton of breakables so I would recommend removing all the dishes.

The Ocean Ranch Villa offers a number of exemplary attributes. Among them are a spacious luxurious interior with an awesome kitchen, sunset views of the ocean from the front deck, views of the 440 acre Fiscalini Ranch Reserve from the rear deck, and a spa tub in the master bathroom. The home is ideal for couples or a family get away on the Central Coast.

We stayed for 5 days with another couple. The access to the shoreline, beaches, and walking trails was perfect. The views from both sides of the home were stellar: seascape on one side, open fields and hills with lots of wild life on the other. The extravagant kitchen was amazingly well equipped for our (demanding) group that loves to cook.

We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful place, which was very clean and spacious for us (6 adults). The location was perfect, close to the bluff trail and the beach (for watching elephant seals!). Definitely will come back.

This home was Super Clean! We have rented many homes & this one takes very good care of things. Great location only down falll was we couldn't stay longer! We would definitely rent again.
