Worcester Lodge

We were four people (two couples) and the house worked well for us. The beds are comfortable but could use better sheets at the bottom sheets were too small and did not stay around the mattresses. The kitchen is stocked with basic pans and dishes. We were comfortable during our stay and especially enjoyed the electric fireplace as the nights were chilly. We did not use the outdoor space due the cooler weather. Driveway is quite steep especially for the car which pulls in last. Not within walking distance of the town or beach.

A very nice, pleasant vacation rental. A few blocks from the beach, lots of nice street to walk. The 3rd time I’ve rented in Cambria, this place was the best! Very comfortable. One thing: no fenced area for my pup to hang out. No dishwasher but not a prob for me. I enjoyed my stay very much.

My 86-year-old mother was with us. She’s in good shape but the house is on such a steep hill that walking in the neighborhood wasn’t possible. And I had to place a chair in front of the step on the deck as it is impossible to see when you are walking out the door. The internet didn’t work. We had to go into town to buy bath soap and extra toilet paper. The floor wasn’t clean. It’s an very small place. Very basic. But it is priced with this in mind, I think. It’s very reasonable for what you get and it’s just a very short drive to the beach, park, preserve, and into town. I highly suggest someone put a strip of contrasting material on the edge of that first step. Also, there were lots of huge cobwebs in the garage which was off-putting.

The pictures don't do this house justice. Super cozy and the upstairs loft is a dream!. Just a few minutes walk to both Fiscalini Ranch and coastal access. Bring your walking shoes and be prepared for hills! Overall, we were very pleased with the home. Beds are UBER comfortable! Thank you for making my birthday trip special :)

The map does not show that the house is on a steep north slope. The dusty covers were still on the outdoor furniture so first impressions were not the best. But the house was very clean with stylish furniture and well-equipped kitchen. The main bedroom is upstairs which could be a problem for some. The walk to the reserve and the ocean was amazing and close if you don’t mind steep hills.

Our overall stay was super! So clean, spacious and well cared for. Everything we needed or wanted was available and in good condition. We had a small electrical problem which was quickly handled . Would definitely stay again!!

We do like to cook, minor issues for us was not having a dish washer. Also adding a range hood would help, we ended up just cooking on the BBQ to avoid setting off alarms. Overall, we enjoyed this cozy home!

We had a lovely time staying at Worcester Lodge in Cambria. The house had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, the showers worked perfectly, the kitchen was fully functioning for what we needed, and the couch was perfect for both watching a movie and napping. The small faux fireplace was a nice touch and put out the ideal heat for our stay.


We enjoyed breakfast on the front porch and walks to Fiscalini. We were delighted that we could bring our fur family along as well.

We hope to return again!
