Great family home with everything we needed for our stay. Locale is great, with a short walk to Shamel Park, the beach, Fiscalini Ranch, and Main Street. The kids loved the pool table, and the view of the sunset was second to none.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this location and will stay again. The house is in a great location. It's close to the beaches, the park and the town of Cambria. It has a great view and the pool table helps out with the family fun. The only thing I would change is the television in the bedroom down stairs with the queen bed. It has an old tv/vcr combo television. This property has a special meaning for our family. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

This was our second time at this home. We have been coming to Cambria since the 70’s. This home is perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of space to hang together or to be on your own.
One thing this home would benefit from is an on demand hot water heater in the upstairs bathroom. Feels like to too forever (probably hundreds of gallons) just to get the water lukewarm for a shower. We all ended up showering in the downstairs bathroom.
Aside from that my grand son left his favorite stuffed kitty and they mailed it to us immediately. Bravo!

The pool table is great for the kiddos and we love that the upstairs is open so everyone can enjoy. We did have an ant problem both times we have stayed there but other then that little problem everything was great. Checking in and out was so easy less then a couple mins. There are 2 rooms down stairs which allows the people that want to go to bed earlier an opportunity to get away from all the noise. This location is very close to Moonstone Dr where you can go to the grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, or misc. shopping.

Second time here, clean lots of room, good view

This house is very good for a family with multiple sleeping options. It has an amazing view, way better than the photos show. Pool table was fun and there are some games for kids in cabinet. Some of the furniture is pretty dated and the master bed could use an upgrade. All in all this is a really good house we will use again.

Stayed in this house in May 01 and May 02. No complaints. The highlight is the pool table which kept us occupied because the weather was very cool (hugh in the low 50's.

Great views and location. Kids loved the pool table while we watched sunset. I would upgrade the place a little, but all enjoyed our trip. Property mgr should know what is in each of their rentals (ie beach chairs and beach towels to borrow, etc). Place was pretty dusty and dirty inside. Cleaners could have done a better job or property mgrs should inspect it to ensure proper cleaning.

It was all about the View and Location. Overall we loved the Place the Mail living was perfect. The view was perfect and the Pooltable was lots of fun. The home was a little tired. From Cobwebs at the front door to a very damp smell when you first walked in. But when you went upstairs to the kitchen and living room, that was great.

Great view, plenty of space, lovely location. Plus a pool table! My teenage sons said it was their favorite vacation rental we've stayed in. Wish we could have stayed longer!

House was very clean and had everything needed for a great stay. Easy to find. And the views were awesome! Not much of a yard so if you have kids keep that in mind, but overall it was just what we needed for our girls weekend. Close to town which we walked,shopped and ate there.

House has beautiful views. Neighborhood was quiet. Location was very nice. House was clean and nicely prepared. I had a lot of problems with living room tv. It seemed like tv had HDMI ports had problems, when connecting my tablet so We could watch my Amazon prime or Netflix the slightest movement such as plugging in electric would cause loss of signal, then later would work again? I called office received no help. Was told maybe tv was to old to plug tablet into, but yet it had HDMI ports? Printed instructions did not help, just cause more problems.

Prime location and adequate facility. The furnishings and cabinetry are dated and very worn. The view and ample open concept living space more than make up for the lack of upkeep. Loved the pool table and ample seating.

As always, Serenity was exactly that. Amazing views, wonderful location and the large open living space to enjoy it all. Have stayed at other places, but come back to this one every time!

My husband met our best friends for my 70th birthday. It was so much fun.

We had a fantastic stay and found the home to be clean and comfortable. I had read previous reviews about issues w/ water pressure/temperature in the master bath but we didn't experience any problems. We enjoyed being able to play pool one evening and loved the Park Hill location.

This location was fantastic. It's very close to Moonstone Beach and also to the village. The main level had a great view and we enjoyed playing pool. Thanks so much!

Serenity is a perfect Cambria home. Close to Shamel Park and the beautiful Cambria shore.
We hiked during the day at San Simeon Beach and Harmony Headlands. In the evening we cooked and drank wonderful local wines.
The pool table was a fun evening activity that kept us laughing enjoying our family time together. We will be back!!

House is located near Shamel Park. Kitchen utensils, pans, plates are old and chipped. Master bath shower valve needs to be replaced. Wi-fi very slow. Balcony is small, but nice ocean views. The upstairs living room is very spacious with a pool table (table top is worn out & 3 cue sticks have no tips), large screen TV & fireplace.

As senior citizens we would really appreciate grab bars in the tub showers.

Great place to stay to visit the beautiful central coast. The house is extremely comfortable and the view is breathtaking. I would suggest new window blinds and something to freshen up the smell of the house overall - it smells a bit moldy from being closed up for long periods of time.

The stay was very enjoyable. This was the second time we stayed at this rental, the other time was in 2011. The home is well located between Shamel Park and Fiscalinin Ranch. We very much enjoyed the view.

We all had a great family vacation at the Serenity Rental House. Great location close to town, park, Moonstone Beach, Tara's Clydesdale Ranch & hiking. We went very early one morning to see the Elephant Seals (due to parking) & witnessed a pup's birth! We got great BBQ from Linn's at Friday's Farmers Market in town.
We are already talking about going again next year for another repeat family vacation.

Serenity was a beautiful home with fantastic views and a pool table for guests to enjoy. The house has a lot of potential and is in need of updates. We were disappointed that the Master Bedroom had no seating, no curtains and no dress or to put away our clothes. The dresser was old and had two missing drawers. The decor was shabby. The other rooms were much better.

There were no tissue boxes in the rooms. The cabinets in the kitchen and the stove was dirty and the cabinets were greasy to the touch.

We have rented homes from Scenic Coast Properties for 25 years and are always pleased with the homes. This house needs TLC.

Have stayed at a few rental properties up and down the central coast area. House was clean, view was spectacular. Short walk to the beach and good jumping off point for day trips to SLO, Paso, etc. Driveway is a little steep. Otherwise, no complaints.

We had a great time and perfect week. The view from upstairs was unbelievable. Will definitely be back.

The house was just as presented on-line. Very comfortable family home, plenty of room for all of us. Pool table, telescope to watch for whales, small deck to watch the sunsets, library in case you had time to read, and location was perfect, very short walk to beach. Easily could walk to Cambria. Just right for the five of us.
Only suggestion is to get new blinds or cords on the blinds in the living room and family room. The blinds need some attention, very hard to pull up and release.

We completely enjoyed the stay here as the home was close to the beach and downtown Cambria. The home was clean, well appointed (loved the pool table!), with nice views of the Pacific. Only minor, minor issue was the the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen are showing some wear with a few of them needing repair or replacement soon (especially since the rest of the kitchen appeared to be redone). Overall, I would gladly stay here again!

We had a wonderful, relaxing week in this lovely home. The kids (and husband!) especially enjoyed the billiards. It's such a close walk to our favorite place, Moonstone Beach, and Shamel Park, which is perfect for children.

I rented Jim Siegal's house for my contractor and painter to use while they were painting the interior of our house located next door to Jim's. It worked out great. Thank you for working with us during the project.

We had an amazing stay at the Serenity House. Its name speaks for itself. It was relaxing, family friendly, and in the best location. We went for a wedding and I am sure that everyone was jealous of the house we rented. Walking distance to town and the beach. Perfect!!!

My daughter's wedding was on the beach in Cambria and we stayed for the week. Serenity was a perfect location - within walking distance of the park, beach and other guests. The house was exactly like the pictures and the views were breathtaking!

It would have been nice to park the bikes in the garage and the blinds up satrs are kind of hard to operate othe than that the place was awesome. cant wait to do it again next year

Perfect fit for my husband and I long with two older teenage boys. They got the downstairs and we all enjoyed the upstairs. That view was amazing. House was comfortable, clean and - the view! The pool table was a nice plus. Could use a little work on some things like the one window downstairs and cabinetry/woodwork in the kitchen but nothing significant. Would come back again! Scenic Coast Mgmt was great to work with.
