All the rooms are huge and airy and most with a view. The house is generously furnished and comfortable for a crowd. It is well stocked with whatever you may need. We enjoyed the nearby park trails.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The house was super clean, spacious, well equipped and in a great spot.

We had a good stay but there are a couple of items others should be aware of: 1) Check-in/Check-out process is a bit old school and clunky (you have to go to the rental agency's storefront in Cambria to get keys, sign paperwork, and return keys), 2) There was a fair amount of bird and bat or rodent feces covering the upper back deck which made being out there a bit unpleasant and a no go for our 7 month old. We liked the house, views, and location overall though.

Our family of five had an amazing time - the views from the house are incredible. We’ve been visiting Cambria for years and this was our first experience at this home, but we will be back!

My family and I had a fabulous time. This property was just what we needed! Girl time with family was perfect.

We stayed at this house for a four day stay with our kids and grandkids. It was clean, well appointed, had fantastic views out of every window, and was close to Fiscalini Preserve and town. We cooked in the fully furnished kitchen and watched movies with plenty of seating for everyone. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the deck overlooking the scenic coastline. We saw many deer and even a pod of whales swimming and jumping in the ocean! Our only complaint was that the neighbors are doing construction and the noise woke us early. We’ve never had that problem on prior stays here.

We have found our favorite vacation home in Cambria! It couldn't be more perfect, from the comfortable, clean, and spacious home with incredible VIEWS, to the prime location right by the Reserve and so close to the beach. We can't wait to come back!

We go to Cambria several times a year for the past 15 years. We always stay down closer to the ocean but this time wanted to try up the hill a bit for a more expansive view. We definitely got the view! We also loved being so close to multiple access points to Fiscalini Ranch, really enjoyed that. Also being up further from the water you see a lot more wildlife. Positives: lots of towels avble, clean, unlike some reviews we found the carpet to be clean, great views, hot tub, good kitchen. For us personally the "negatives" may not matter to some..general upkeep with the house as in cobwebs outside,random expired spices, lack of throw blankets to cuddle up with, the fireplace was basically non-existent which for us is extremely important, placemats & napkins would be nice, however...we also typically rent places that are more expensive so you get more of those type of amenities. Would we rent this particular house again? Probably not but we absolutely would rent from Scenic Coast!

We had a great time enjoying the home with gorgeous views! We had 6 people and there was plenty of room. The house was a little outdated... the carpet was worn and stained. The kitchen could have been more modern (stove and oven were small for the size of house). There seemed to not be enough linens (we couldn’t find the bedsheets for the sofa bed), and towels were just enough for everyone with no extras. It was nice to have the 2 car garage but it was a little difficult to maneuver out of driveway b/c it was short. The agency was very organized, responsive and easy to secure the rental.

We rented this home for a girls weekend getaway and although we are accustom to renting homes on our vacations we didn't have high expectations for this particular home or location. It was rented to solve the problem that we needed a place to stay. It was beyond our expectations! The home is incredible large and offers quiet corners for everyone or large space for gathering together. We loved the large windows with the exceptional view and the deck was a quiet retreat in the morning or late evening. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet and plenty of options for beach access and there is even a really nice 1 mile trail that takes you out on the bluff nearby. The bedrooms are large, comfortable, and the mattresses are great. In a vacation property you want good beds, great location, and plenty of room...this house had all of that. My only "complaint" is the driveway and parking. Unfortunately the garage is challenging to access and the narrow driveway makes it hard to maneuver large SUV style vehicles. I would recommend having more than 1-2 cars.

The home was more than we expected. The wildlife we saw was totally unexpected and a treat in the mornings and evening. The view of the ocean and the sounds of the waves crashing in was so relaxing. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We hated to leave this property.

We stayed for a girls trip and the location and hot tub made up for what was lacking! The carpet is absolutely filthy! The baseboards and floors need some major attention, otherwise it has incredible potential!

The view was spectacular. The house accommodated 5 people with room to spare. It was very clean. The property management company was extremely accommodating. The spa was well-maintained.
I would recommend a bin for recycling materials in the kitchen.
The refrigerator has an inside leak from the top onto the first glass shelf which creates a frozen puddle.
There is also a leak from the washing machine and there is some rust there as well on the ground.

The house was beautiful. Spacious and well furnished. The location was perfect. We sat and watched the ocean for hours. The hot tub was a perfect ending to a great day hiking. We even saw about eight deer eating in the front yard. The only thing that it needs is a good carpet cleaning.

My family had a great time. Views are great the water and hiking trails are an easy walk. And as the guy who does most of the cooking the knives were actually sharp! Rare thing in a rental.

This home was a great getaway for my family. It is very spacious, and the view of the sunset was amazing.

Beautiful house with amazing views from living room,decks,hot tub and 2 bedrooms.Great neighborhood within walking distance to beach and preserve.Bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Tile in master shower is very slippery, so use caution. There were no operating instructions for the fireplace, which was very disappointing. Driveway and garage are not suitable for larger SUVs or low ground clearance vehicles and street parking is not permitted. The dining room table could use a good scrub around the edges where people rest their arms.

FYI, there is a water shortage and water barely comes out in the showers and you have to hold the shower head the whole time in both bathrooms. It was very hot for some reason upstairs, and we highly recommend ceiling fans to help with airflow. Window and door vertical blinds dated in the 1980"s are extremely outdated and it feels like they have never been cleaned! Carpet you could be updated as well.

We stayed at Dream Catcher for our annual girls trip to Cambria. It was quite large and very comfortable. Very well maintained. There was a really nice view and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We didn't have problems with the pitch of the driveway like others did so I guess it depends on the car.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. The location couldn't be more perfect: spectacular ocean views and with the Fiscalini trails a few steps away. Beds were comfortable. The plumbing, however, is in poor shape. The water pressure is so low in the master shower that you can't even wash sand off. The upstairs shower was broken. There was water dripping in the back of the refrigerator and it got all over the food. The house also wasn't as well-equipped as other places we've stayed. There were only some greasy plastic placemats for the table -- no tablecloths, nothing that could be washed. We noticed that the table had a lot of marks all over it and this is probably because there was nothing in the house to protect it. Otherwise, we loved the house but would hope that at least the plumbing and refrigerator issues get fixed before we would stay there again.

A Vacation home that gives so much. Relax, play games, pray and EAT. Comfortable, view to die for. Hot tub and a glass of wine at Sunset. Sleep like a baby in the King Beds. What a blessing to anyone who can take time to live, love and Laugh.

This is such a nice and relaxing place to stay! Beautiful view and comfortable. There is a path right at the end of the street where you can walk down to the coast. We will be going back!

The house met all expectations in terms of amenities, cleanliness, view. Either there is someone living in the basement behind several locked doors not able to open or the bathrooms flush repeatedly on their own. Noises around the house all night long. Could be neighbors who don’t like living next to a rental.

We had an amazing stay. The view and location are amazing. The house has so much space and is wonderful. It was walking distance to the beach and much more. The only areas of improvement are that the carpet is worn and dirty, kitchen needs more items, hot tub is locked at 100 degrees but should be able to get warmer. The response from rental company was great.

Spacious and very clean. House is located too close to neighbors who can be loud. The ocean views can only truly be seen while standing, when sitting the wooden rail blocks your view (such a shame). Master bedroom nightstand light didn’t work, needs a new switch. We enjoyed ourselves no matter the little things.

This home has the most spectacular ocean views. The main room in this open concept home has high vaulted ceilings that make the room feel expansive and welcoming.
The bedrooms are nice and the beds quite comfortable. The living room couch is too low and too soft. We noticed that more on our second visit where we spent 4 nights. Parking is awkward S we drive an Explorer and did not fit in the garage. The parking area is steep.
There is a wonderful spa available outside of both bedrooms.
The view is Fabulous!

The home was immaculate and well-appointed. Spectacular ocean views from nearly every room in the house. Close to hiking trails at Fiscalini Preserve and close to town as well. We enjoyed the hot tub (with views, of course) throughout the weekend. We will definitely choose to stay at this house again.

My family regularly rents homes, and this home is one of my favorites. We stayed here over Christmas. We spent our entire stay sitting on the couch enjoying the view of the ocean. My ten year old did not complain once that he was bored either. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. We loved the living room because it was so big and open. We read some reviews about the driveway and we didn't understand why one would complain about a steep driveway. Yes, the driveway is short and steep. The downfall with the driveway is if you don't backup at an angle, your backend with scrape the street. You will see many deer roaming the neighborhood. The neighbors were very friendly as well. We will be booking this house again. I highly recommend this house for a family vacation.

Beds: 1 twin mattress was sloping, felt like I was going to fall; queen mattress was uncomfortable.
Shower/downstairs puddles.
outside photo of the driveway is deceiving...degree of driveway makes getting out onto the single lane street tricky.
Would not recommend this property to a friend.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. The only recommendations we would like to say that the kitchen was not properly supplied with cooking pots and pans, utensils and having a gas grill would have been nice.

My family has stayed at Dream Catcher for several years now. We just keep coming back for the 180 degree view of the ocean, the large great room with its huge comfy couch, and, of course, the big deck. It is the perfect beach rental, with good beds and plenty of bathrooms, and is within close proximity to the Fiscalini Ranch trail, which has sweeping views of the ocean and an easy trail. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood away from crowds, but is a quick drive to town and Moonstone beach. A little warning to those folks who want to park in the garage, the driveway is short and steep, and the garage door is low, although there is a paved parking spot on the street.

Really enjoyed staying here and spent a lot of time on the deck and in the gigantic family room overlooking the coast.

Great place for a quiet stay near the Fiscalini Preserve.

This is the third time staying at Dream Catcher if that tells you anything; perfect for a girls getaway or family vacation. We spent hours out on the decks reading and enjoying the magnificent view in the 65 degree weather. The neighborhood is nice and is away from town, which we prefer. The king beds are so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The driveway is a bit steep so it made parking a low profile car a bit challenging. There is an additional parking spot on the road. The living room has a wall of windows and cathedral ceilings. The couch seats about 10 people, perfect for binge watching in the evenings. We will book again next year!

Kitchen had plenty of everything we needed to prepare meals. Sitting in the hot tub at night watching the stars and listening to the waves crash nearby was a great way to end the day. 'The house was very comfortable and relaxing after a day of adventures.
The only reasons I didn't give it all 5 stars:
-Should have warned us about limited parking, we brought one truck for three of us. trying to save on parking spaces.Renters should know that there is only space available in the garage so don't bring too big an automobile.
-Tho the house was clean, the carpets really need a good cleaning or replacement.
BUT we would definitely stay there again.

We loved this beach house, super clean and well taken care of. The hot tub is fabulous, great size for 4 or more, no problem and well maintained. the main floor is an enormous open floorpan with windows or patio sliders everywhere, you get to enjoy the views wherever you are. Calm, peaceful, and comfortable...we would definitely rent this again.

We needed several larger homes at the last minute. I had never worked with this company before but I certainly will in the future. The office girls were so kind and helpful. The 2 homes we rented were perfect. Well stocked, well maintained and most importantly, REALLY CLEAN! Very happy with this rental agency and our experience. Thank you for making a stressful situation a little easier.
