The location is great with a beautiful ocean view and quiet neighborhood. Lots of wildlife, deer, hawks, etc. The inside of the house is very clean. We are an asthma/allergy family and typically have to take medicine when traveling but we had absolutely no issues here. The backyard is not very well maintained, lots of spiderwebs. But overall, we had a great stay.

We’ve rented quite a few spots in the area and this was one of the most private, and beautiful. Great backyard for family bbqs, hanging out. What we liked: location, comfy beds (master and queen downstairs), great movie selection, and fully stocked kitchen. Bright, sunny during the day. What we didn’t love as much—-the very cool lighting and open plan affected the “comfy factor” at night. All in all, recommend. Bring extra blankets or comforters if you like to sleep with the windows open!

The location and home were perfect for our needs. The view from the deck is very relaxing and the home is great.

Not really impressed with this house. We left a day early. Out of date linens, from the bed sheets to the towels. They were tattered. The towels were something I would use for car wash towels. Not private at all the neighbors could see right in the backyard patio area and most of the windows. The decor was so out of date not a beach feel at all in this house. The house needs repairs and needs to be painted. There is no pride of ownership with this house at all. The AC had a code on it so we could not use it. It was a very uncomfortable stay we ended up leaving a day early because we were just not comfortable.

We had the best time as always in Cambria. Our house was close to the tidepools and the preserve. We saw so many deer, cows and even wild turkeys. We can't wait to come back.

The house was in a great location, beautiful views, well furnished with a well-stocked kitchen and easy to use television set up. There was no shampoo or conditioner provided, so bring your own.

We really liked the layout of the home as well as the added feeling of semi-seclusion. The view and soundscape made us happy with roaming deer and sea lions barking in the distance. This is one that we will put on our favorites list and we will be returning soon for a longer stay!!!

this is an awesome house, Perfect location, wide view, really exceptional

Although the accommodations were nice but there were a few things that would have made our stay less frustrating and more enjoyable. It would have been nice to have an information packet explaining things such as: How to operate the sound system and TV. Also, the heater. It was quite complex. The yard needed attention. There was a lot of debris on the patio. The BBQ had not been cleaned out in quite some time and needed attention. Only one set of grill bars would light. The dishwasher was out of order . The property management did take car of both of those items.

The listing advertises a hot tub but it is not there it’s a Jacuzzi tub which is very different. House’s location is great but we have stayed in much nicer homes for less money.

We had a great time with two grade-school kids in Cambria—beautiful ocean hikes in Fiscalini and tide pools within walking distances, with cafes, great beaches and horseback riding only a short drive away. Very quiet relaxing neighborhood and pasture next door was as described. House was nice, but they skimped on some basics. Eg Dishes seemed like leftovers — no good bowls or glasses —and no shampoo, small thing but meant we had to run out soon after we got there. Also hot tub in pictures no longer there.

Very Clean with top notch ameneties. Loved the view of the adjacent pasture with cows and the ocean. Brief walk to the shore.

Beautiful area and excellent location. Everything in the house is clean and handy. The furnishings are a bit sparse in the downstairs bedrooms -- but who cares when the views are wonderful and the tide pools are a 2 minute walk away.

It was really good.. view of ocean was amazing. House was very clean and had everything we needed.. kitchen was well stocked.

Great peaceful location with beautiful views and easy access to outdoor activities, walking, biking et. Property well maintained and very clean. Comfortable bed in master. Some previous reviews from some time back commented on poor kitchen tools and supplies. These items are not yet updated. It would have been nice to have the patio and deck ready to use. I look forward to spending more time in this area.

We loved our stay in Cambria. The house has a great layout, was clean and was the perfect setting for our relaxing week away. I highly recommend both the house and Cambria in general, and look forward to returning soon!

Our house was a perfect location to walking trails and the downtown area. Some of the nearby walking trails with amazing views: Lampton Cliffs (right down the block) and further down is Bluff Trail which blends into Fiscalini Ranch (this trail is both on the water and parts go deeper into the woods). The house was a great for a family of 7 and has a great back deck where you can rest in the sun! We definitely would go again :)

We choose a rental from Scenic Coast Property Management, and sent deposit. Later, we were told it was not available as owners were to use it.
SCPM then gave us another option which was more expensive. We had no choice but take it as it was late in holiday season. Disappointed.

Kitchen utensils were poor quality and sparse. They were like hand me downs. I would expect better quality from a house in this price range. There was no way to play music. A Bluetooth device to connect IPhone would be nice.
